Overview
WASHERS: Install washers with lubricant facing the nut.
LUBRICATION: Lubricant should be applied to the opening of the nut, the bottom of the nut, and one side of the washer.
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:
1.) Assemble parts together that you need to be clamped.
2.) Clean clamping areas and make sure area to be clamped is free of lubricant as well as side of washer facing the clamping area.
3.) Drive stud into the threaded hole in component, FINGER TIGHT, back off one thread so thread is not engaged in block.
4.) Put washer (if provided) onto stud with side facing down having no lubricant, and the side facing up lightly lubricated.
5.) Thread nut onto stud with flange facing down toward the washer.
6.) Using a calibrated torque wrench, following torque instructions above.
7.) Retorque is not required or recommended for any assembly.
ASSEMBLY NOTES:
1.) Whenever possible assemble components before putting stud in place to minimize risk to stud and component.
2.) Do not allow lubricant to get on the bottom of the washer and the clamped component, this can change the correct torque.

This Limited Warranty covers APEX products for original purchasers, subject to the terms below:
Torque: Use APEX torque specifications only. Over-torquing voids the warranty.
Lubrication: Use APEX lubricants exclusively. Other lubricants void the warranty.
Coverage: APEX products are warrantied against material and workmanship defects.
Claims: Contact APEX Customer Service for a Return Authorization Number and inspection.
Exclusions: Warranty doesn’t cover improper installation, maintenance, or failure to follow safety precautions.
Limitation of Liability: APEX’s liability under this Warranty is limited to the refund of the purchase price of the defective product.
Returns
Apex Torque stands behind our products with a 100% guarantee. Product returns that pertain to package corrosion, form, fit, or function are covered at 100%. Apex Torque’s products are guaranteed to be corrosion-free in the first 6 months from shipment if still sealed in the original package. Returns can be made in exchange for another product of the same type, or for a refund. All refunds will be credited back to the customer via the same payment method used for the original order. Purchases made with resellers must be coordinated with the reseller.
A customer has up to 14 days from the date of shipment to return any unopened packaging back to Apex Torque. Any returns over 14 days will be subject to a 10% restocking fee and the customer will be responsible for related shipping costs to send back the product. Apex Torque will not accept any returns over 30 days. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the product is correct and they have all components ordered within 30 days.
